About Us

Ballyholland GAA Club, nestled in the heart of County Down, Northern Ireland, boasts a rich history within the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA)

Established in 1954, our club is dedicated to serving the local community and promoting Gaelic games, including Football, Camogie, LGFA, and Scór. Over the years, Ballyholland has celebrated numerous successes at both senior and underage levels, actively participating in various county championships and earning titles that have solidified our legacy.

Our strong youth program nurtures the talent of both boys and girls, fostering a passion for Gaelic sports among young people. Our facilities have seen significant improvements, enabling us to better support our teams and engage with the community. Beyond sporting excellence, Ballyholland emphasises community involvement, cultural activities, and the promotion of Irish heritage.

As our club has experienced remarkable growth in recent years, we urgently need to enhance our facilities to better serve our community and secure our future.

We have recently received planning approval for a new training pitch, a 3G multi-use games area, a ball wall, and a walking track. The funds raised from this competition will directly contribute to the development of these vital facilities, ensuring that we can continue to thrive and provide valuable resources for our community.
